Reproductive Endocrinologist
Dr Rumbidzai Majangara has been practicing medicine since 2006. She is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with superspecialisation in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology. She is the Founder and Practitioner in Charge of DAWN Fertility Centre and Borrowdale Fertility & Reproductive Endocrinology Clinic. She is also a Consultant and Lecturer for the University of Zimbabwe.
Education and Training
Dr Rumbidzai Majangara obtained her Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery Degrees at the University of Zimbabwe in 2006. She completed her internship at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals and did community service at Karoi District Hospital in 2009. She obtained a Diploma in HIV management and joined the UZ-UCSF, a research organisation that specialised in research for HIV prevention and treatment. Dr Rumbi developed a passion for women’s health and enrolled for a Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Zimbabwe for which she graduated in 2016. To enhance her skill and ability to assist people struggling with fertility, Dr Rumbi studied reproductive endocrinology, assisted reproduction techniques and endoscopic surgery to enhance fertility at the University of Cape Town/ Groote Schuur Hospital and graduated with a Masters in Philosophy (MPhil/ Cert) Reproductive Medicine. She is a certified Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic surgeon (European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery). Dr Rumbi has a passion for helping women and men build their families.
Physician Embryologist
Dr Kudakwashe Karaga has been practicing Medicine since 2006. He is a General Practitioner and Certified Clinical Embryologist. He is the Co-founder and Laboratory Director of Dawn Fertility Centre.
Education and Training
After obtaining a BSc in Nutrition, Dr Kudakwashe Karaga realised he had a passion for medicine. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery Degrees at the University of Zimbabwe in 2006. He has vast experience working as an emergency medicine practitioner in Hospital emergency departments (Westend Hospital, Healthpoint Hospital) and served as a member of hospital administration. He holds the Masters’ in Business Administration (India) and the Masters’ in International Corporation & Humanitarian Aid Degrees (KALU – Spain).
Dr Kuda developed a passion for assisted reproduction and is keen to assist men and women with andrology and embryology services. He obtained a Masters’ Degree in Clinical Embryology & Assisted Reproduction with the University of LEEDS (United Kingdom).
